Not sure which to go, compact size of the SD7 or the better performing SD508. What are you all using with LS Swaps?

I have the SD 508, reason being is that it can handle higher RPM's than the SD-7. Mine is a Vintage Air installation in a 69 Firebird w/ a stock LS1 GTO engine.

I've got a 63 chevy II wagon so different cars but still check out reply #6. He works for VA and was very helpful to me on my project. https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/119019-Sanden-compressor-for-Vintage-Air-Sure-Fit-gen-IV

Well good post, but just talked in circles....what are you all using and are you happy?

I'm using an SD7 mounted up top with a Holley a/c bracket. It works great for the intended use, which is mainly daily driver type use. Personally I don't think you can go wrong with either......just try not to overthink it as both have been used with great results.

Any other inputs? I'm also thinking about size and room for it. How small is the sd7?

Use the bigger SD508 if you have room. You won't regret it living in the desert...
