Does anyone make a bracket for a DBW pedal in a first gen fbody? Also what about a bracket for the ECM?

Thanks for the help!

DSE makes one for use with a corvette pedal. I just installed one in a 67 im building. Uses 2 bolts on the column bracket to mount it to the firewall, Its inexpensive as well.

Do all the GM DBW pedals provide the same inputs to the ECM? Can they be swapped without tuning?

The Gen IV pedals are all the same in terms of functionality. So if it has the long 6 pin connector, you're good to go. Common pedals are Corvette, CTSV, and my favorite Monte Carlo SS.

I have been told by CBM Motorsports that fbw pedals are application specific, i.e. If your engine is from a cts you will need a cts pedal, id you have a vette motor you will need a vette pedal. I used the DSE bracket on my GTO pedal and with some minor tweaks it worked like a champ.

That's incorrect... The programmer just needs to know the pedal you are using when programming the ECM. Andrew's motor is an L92 with a Monte SS pedal. I have a Monte SS Pedal for my TBSS motor. It should only be 24x pedal to 24x motor and 58x to 58x...

Make sure you have the correct pedal. The dse works with the corvette dbw NOT the camaro. Im going to see what needs to be done so the camaro pedal works.

I have the CTS-V pedal. I'll let you know about any mods that are needed

I second the Ironworks bracket. I had to modify it but it's real nice. They have ECM and gas pedal brackets.

Here's my CTS-V pedal. And, it fits on the mounting bracket with no modifications.

very nice. Yes my pedal does not. Debating to sell mine and buy the ironworks setup or just make one.

your pedal is offset. Mine is straight down.

My pedal that came with my LSA crate motor doesn't fit the DSE bracket. I bought one and I'll have to make something anyway because of the different pedal mount. To me it looks like the Iron Works bracket is the one for my pedal it bolts from the side not front to back like Terry's

I welded studs to the floor..... Just a thought

isn't there a epoxy or something that someone is using to "glue" fab bosses to a finished firewall?
