4l80E Transmission controller advice suggestions

I recently purchased a 4L80E transmission, with the Twist Machine Paddle shifter. It was a used set up so I have had everything checked and freshened up. I did not get a controller. I am now looking at controllers, question 1 is do I have to run the controller from Twist Machine since I have a Twist Machine paddle shifter? (I have no issue with the Compushift just checking my options) If not what controllers can I run?
The car is a 65 442, I am running a 468 BBO with a carb. What would you guys that have more experience than I do suggest?

You can pretty much run whatever you want with Twist Machine. We use Baumann aka US Shift, they're less expensive than most but work great. PCS, MSD, Compushift etc all are good as well.

I just got the tci setup. Havn't installed it yet but hopefully in the next couple weeks.

OP, check with Steve. I'm not sure if his paddles work with the TCI Controller. As Dale said Baumann , PCS and MSD are cheaper alternatives to Compushift.
