Have a six piston setup on a manual brake 1967 Gto. My issue is a soft pedal. It almost goes to the floor when I press the brakes. I'm a strong guy so it's very easy to press. I was worried about that so I pressure tested the calipers and got 1000-1200psi. The master and brakes are wilwood. Master cylinder bore size is 7/8. Can I swap to maybe a 1ich or larger bore to get a firm pedal? Thank you

Does the pedal bottom out? Have you actually driven the car?

I have a similar combination and I like the softer pedal because it makes the car easier to drive on the street. I'm a pretty big guy myself, so pressing the pedal is not an issue, but I find the longer pedal more suited to modulating the brakes as needed. I think a 1" MC would be too big. There are OEM 15/16" bore MCs that will work as well, I used to run this before swapping to a 7/8" MC.
