Just asking cus of the gap on pindle and ball joint...since its a tall ball joint i guess it has have a a gap

does not look right, i have tall joints and my upper spindle pulls up and squishes the rubber a fair bit, if you know what i mean. could be totally different to what i have seen before i dont know sorry

Mine does the same thing. I used proforged tall ball joints and they included a section of tubing to cover the gap. BTW mine is a 67 Firebird.

Looks fine to me. As long as your getting the nut tight and seating the tapers you should be fine.

As long as you can torque the nut and install a cotter pin your solid. A bit of rubber hose might "clean it up" and protect stud more, just put some dielectric grease in it as it wont attack rubber hose like regular grease. Just an idea. I'd atleast keep it sprayed with white lube or something to keep it from rusting as rust might migrate down taper and make removal for repair or replacement impossible. and corrosion might weaken ball joint.
