I am looking at trim parts Essex one piece carpet for my 69 Camaro Vert that we are finishing. I like the idea of one piece carpet, but i have heard that it can be a bear to get installed flat. Does anybody have experience with it? Recommend or no? Tricks to install? Heat?
Thanks!

been looking at doing the same thing myself.....like the Life cereal commercials from the 70's----you try it first
never tried the 1 piece, the trim parts 2 piece fit OK it was little loose on the trans tunnel towards the front(firewall area)

I put the 1 piece Essex carpet from Trim Parts in my 69 and it was a breeze. The Essex is more flexible and easier to work with than the original style loop. This more than compensated for being 1 piece.

I bought it, but need to get paint on car before install. After install I'll report.
