Well, I finally finished up all the other crap I needed to get done so I can get back on the truck. Started on the drivers side sheetmetal work, repaired the body mount, the footwell and half the floor. Also got my valve covers back from Phoenix Specialty Coatings.

Not a lot, just some sheetmetal work on the floor and firewall.

Not a lot has happened over the winter, but I'm finally getting back in the swing of things. Finished up the floor pans and firewall sides, now comes the fun part, making up the firewall recess. It only took me about 2 hours making it out of cardboard, wish the sheet metal would go that quick...

Well it's taken about a month, but I've finally finished the firewall and tunnel. I'm not going to weld it in just yet, just in case.... Now I can move on, I just ordered the steering column, gas and brake pedals... ( Of course nobody makes a matching set of Gas and Brake pedals for an automatic.)Name: s-l1600 (1).jpg

      Hey Mike,

      awesome work with the tunnel!
How do you plan to figure out where the pedals need to go? I am wondering if i should alter the stock position of my trucks pedals as they are hanging kind of high...

In my case, their going wherever I can fit them. For yours, you could just extend the pedals, a lot less work than relocating them.

Finished making all the mods to the radiator support so I could mount my new radiator assembly. Also got the oil cooler mounted.

It looks like you made plenty of room for the radiator when you set the engine back . It looks good.

So I've been working on the dash, laying out all the switches, filled in the speaker grille, and installing the AC vents. At first I was going to go with Billet vents, but a good friend advised against it, seems that they condensate like crazy when you run the AC. So I picked up some Ford OEM vents off of Ebay. I wanted to fit them flush to the dash, so first I designed up a ring to fit the vent into, then I 3D printed one to check the fit. Then I had a friend CNC 2 rings for me, I welded them into the dash, a little body work, and their ready to go..Name: 132610.jpg
