      Does any have a good way to mount the shaker on a LS3?

      This might help with some ideas.
      Take a peek over at one of Stielow's builds where a throttle body is mounted on a single plane intake to look somewhat old school. Not sure which exact page but around posting #194.

      For the shaker on my LS powered '79, I just made four stanchions from threaded rod that go into the holes for the fuel rails, sheet metal base with nutserts for shaker...I think I ended up with six nutserts. Seems secure.

      Thanks, that looks great and something I had envisioned trying to do myself.

      It's been years ago but IIRC Year One north east of Atlanta did a shaker hood scoop on a LS that brought the intake tube from the front of the throttle body into the side of a stock? shaker hood scoop.

      Curious, I am in Colorado so my 1979 TA still requires emissions testing and I would like to use the Holley Terminator ecu but wondering if anyone else has had trouble passing emissions with a LS swap and the Holley Terminator?

      Total guess on my part but I assume the inspection would require cats? Or is it just a tail pipe sniff? A 79 car would not have ox sensors. But would have EGR?
      IMO if you ran cats and a good tune (smaller cam) you could pass the sniffer test no problem.

      Yes, I believe all that to be correct, I’m just nervous since the Holley website states the Holley Terminator is not emissions compliant.

      Just found this the other day if anyone is interested for an option of mounting Shakers;

      LS & Transmission Swaps Steering Wheel Lock?

      Hey, when you all are doing your LS and transmission swaps are you keeping the steering wheel lock when in park or just removing it?
      Thanks
