      Anyone got these??? CL200s(daisy)

I was thinking of getting some new wheels since hi-po 15 inch rubber is nonexistent in wide widths. I was thinking of getting these American Racing CL200s wheels in 17"x9.5 with 275x40 tire.

Anyone have these wheels? Do you like them? Do you know what they weigh?

      Thanks
      Alcino

Check out this website from StreetKing. He has those wheels in 17" (I assume) on a couple of the TAs on his site. Look at the pics towards the bottom of the page:

StreetKing's TAs with AR 200S wheels

2005 GTO - chrome lugs and valve caps...

if you look through the pictures of the red Bird on SW's site he had the CL-200's on that car at one time and then went to the 205's.....I have the 205's on my Malibu and like them alot.....was planning to buy the 200's but got a deal on these, my wallet prevailed

I don't think AR makes the CL-200 (Daisys) in anything larger than 17". The CL-205 (TT2 "Classic" can be had as latrge as 20".

In looking through all the TA pics, it looks like he ran those 200's on all of them at one time or another!

Well I love the look of them and they are a bargain for being able to customize the backspacing. But I still want something light for performance. Looking hard on the web I found that the Torque Thrust II which is a similar wheel from the same company weighs in at 24lbs for the size I want. I was hoping for something less than 20lbs. Still have time to decide while the funds build up. I probably wouldn't be happy if they weighed 15lbs!

I have 17" 200s powdercoated black on my 1970 white chevelle wagon and like the look... also bought SW's CL 205's, and have 18" TT2's on my 68 chevelle convertible. I think the grey center depends on your car color. I am going to paint my 68 flat black, so will be going to the grey CL205's. In general I will say I like the TT2/CL205 look better, but it depends on the lines of your car - they just seem to flow the best with 68-70 chevelles... we have a 67 el camino in the shop with 17" Magneatos, and they look great, flow very well with that body style... If you want some cheap wheels, I have some 15" smoothies with BFG's - that I will let go cheap - they are brand new.

If you go the cars section on this site - under 69 Camaros - you can see them on Craig Boone's car. They are full polished but you'll get the idea.
