vinage air heater hoses?

I am installing vintage air in 69 Camaro with ls3, I have 5/8 and 3/4 heater hoses, I ran them out of the water pump into the passengers compartment, So now both the fittings on the ac/heater box seem to be a odd size, I thought 3/4 at first but I don't think it is. I see on vintage air website they have a 3/4 to 5/8 reduced hose, and fittings that are 3/4. So I would think that the 3/4 goes to water pump then both inlets would be #10 fittings that connect to the heater box? I think I am on the right track just would like to know what fittings work best 45 degree or straight.
