Ive been driving muscle cars and hotrods my whole life and have never experienced cops harassing me or profiling me because of the car im driving, hell they are usually giving me a thumbs up! Do you guys mix up a big cup of Haterade everytime a new car movie like Gone in 60 seconds or 2 lane black top...Hell even Grease is aired? Just take the show for what it is entertainment. Heres a sneak peak of next weeks episode.

Tis true, street racing pre-dates any sanctioned event. Was how hot rodding was born. I watched and participated as a teen and into my 20's. I'm grateful I wasn't hurt or hurt anyone. We've had a handful of fatalities from street racing in "industrial areas" and "remote streets" here so that's not the answer either.... but honestly, what seems to be the biggest draw is the same part that I can't stand, hours and hours of ***** talk and nonsense followed by a race or two. Yes, I watched a couple episodes to give it a fair chance. Good luck and congratulations on your notoriety.

i like looking at the cars but the fabricated drama is unbearable.

also it doesnt help the stigma the public has towards muscle car owners.

I cant rev the engine at a redlight without having to worry about blue lights popping up...even though im doing the speed limit

I just don't see how the risk justifies the rush or fun. Just haul the car or drive them to the track ,have the timing lights shut off so people don't know exactly how fast your car is , and go at it. Some tracks even have special nights with the timers off all night. Most of these guys don't want anyone to know exactly how fast the car is because then they can't make any money.
