Summit AN fittings any good?

I'm finishing off my fuel system and I was wondering if anyone has feedback on the Summit Brand AN fittings? They are a few bucks cheaper than the Russell fittings, but I'm wondering if there is any difference? I know Summit doesn't make them, so I'm wondering what the quality would be? Any feedback would be appreciated...

the summit brand is a rebranded Earls or Russell fitting, I dont remember exactly which one it was but it was one of them. So to answer your question, they are good quality, I have used them over the years and never had an issue with the quality of the fittings.

I've used them all, the cheap ones seem to hold up well and are of good quality... I'm sure most have a favorite fitting mfg though

Car Craft or Hot Rod had a article withen the last year or two about the different fittings and actual sizes. They did vary in size.
I also tried Summit fittings with Earls or some other name brand braided hose, and had some lose connections.

So, If you buy one company's fittings, I would buy their braided hose.

I did decide to try the Summit brand, also went with their PTFE hose. I'll probably have an answer for my own question in a few wks.

the Summit fittings work just like any other brand, i used a few on my fuel system and haven't had any problems, i also used Earls fittings and hose, i believe the Summit brand is relabeled Earls fittings.

I have used them and using them on my fuel injection system. The quality looks no different than the name brands.

Aeroquip & XRP are really nice, but I have used Earls and Summit as well. Def a difference compared to XRP , but work fine. Each company has their own unique fittings and reds and blues vary in shade. Nickle seems consistent more or less.

I have ran most brands over the years ... Earls, Russell, Aeroquip, XRP, Jiffy-Tite & Fragola. We have only ran into problems when a fitting is misused for the application, or different brand of hoses mixed with different brand of fittings ... and occasionally fittings designed to swivel after tightening some times have problems.

Fragola is the best value we found, because the quality is top notch & price is less than most the others by 20%. But the Blue anodize is not dark, bright blue and that bothers many people if they are showing their car.

Some "brands" don't make the product, they sub-contract the manufacturer. There is a company in Florida that makes the fittings for smaller brands, and may make Summit's. The parts looked good.

I received the fittings and line yesterday, they look good minus the "Summit" painted on the fittings. I'll know more in the weeks ahead.

cheap parts ain't good and good parts ain't cheap
