Hey George - The point I was trying to make was - Is it legal for you to install HID lighting in your car, which never had HID lighting? This is one of the laws here in Missouri (United States) which makes it legal to update to Halogen, which has been deemed at the replacement of the sealed beam headlights, but not to HID systems that did not come on the car to begin with. The issue is the aiming of the projectors and the headlight location (which I don't fully understand) with respect to the oncoming drivers.

HID (real ones not Halogen imitation thingies) lights are legal on modern cars here.

Modern cars have the lights set up to be focused onto the road and not scatter across the entire street and thus be offensive to oncoming cars.

We drive on left hand side, so I would need my HID's for the mustang to focus the beam not scatter and they would need to dip to the left not to the right as they would in the US, cause if they dip to the right here as they do up there, they would shine into oncoming cars which is not legal nor safe.

Are there HIDs that dip left and do not scatter everywhere but are focused down by the concave thing infront of the anodes (or however it works)?
