1977 Caprice/Impala

Normally I wouldn't bother forum members with this kind of thing however I'm struggling with a situation, albeit not a bad situation. I'm nearing the completion of my 4yr restoration of my 68 mustang convertible, I have a thread of the build here https://www.pro-touring.com/showthre...g-Vert-Scarlet
There are some parts of the build I wish I had done differently (suspension, etc..) however I figured I could always do it later. I have gone back and forth on possibly selling, mostly when I'm frustrated with part of the build :D , now that is not the dilemma merely the back story.

My dad, who is a diehard chevy guy, has owned his 77' Caprice Classic 2 door since it was new ( bought the year after I was born). Since then he has maintained this car along the way and its gone through some different combinations of motors, etc.. Currently, it sits with a stroked SBC and makes some good power but the car is immaculate. Now for the dilemma... I knew one day he was going to hand me the car keys as he has mentioned is lessing of interest in the car and tinkering, well, he called me today and left a voicemail, a minute long one on how he had been sitting around all day today, and has been thinking about this a great deal lately. This would be his last year with the car and that he would like me to take ownership of it and hopes I have a place for it. While I could NEVER think of selling the car, I only have a 2 car garage and the mustang resides in one spot. I'm not about to turn him down, so I'm left with some decisions. I do really like the car and if I were to truly enjoy it I'd have to make it "mine" so it would likely get lowered a great deal, with some modern 18" deep dish wheels, so somewhat of a pro-touring style.



So....
Do I finish up the mustang and look to sell it, take some of that money to do up the caprice with suspension and wheels
Keep both somehow, hard to think about maintaining multiple old cars :(

If I do option 1 can I make this car look less like a police cruiser and unique?? looking for thoughts/suggestions on this
Does anyone have the ability to photoshop the car with it slammed and some 18" wheels like a Forgeline mesh or a 5 spoke deep dish. I'm having a hard time seeing this car in that form and would truly appreciate anyones photoshop services!

I'm struggling with letting the convertible cruiser go that I planned on driving around my wife and 2 little daughters in, and now having a hardtop car, seems like it kind of takes the "cruise" aspect out of it for my wife. She is not too fond of the caprice, lol.

Sorry for the rambling post, just looking for some guidance on possibly building this caprice/impala to match my style and liking. I've searched high and low on the web to find anyone else that's done something like this with a 77' so I do like the fact that I'd be a bit different and that's always something I consider in my previous builds.
