      Another shock/spring combo question post

I would like a recommendation for the front of my 68 camaro sbc shock/spring combo. This is a street driven/daily driver car (sorry nothing juicy) and I have 245/45R17 tires that rub badly at the slightest bump in the road. I dont know about the current springs but the shocks are just Monroes. I also get a lot of "float" at higher freeway speeds. I am having to replace my front tires soon due to tire damage and want to correct the problem (like I should have done a along time ago) before I put new tires on.

I welcome all opinions and recommendations but would really like to hear from people with a first gen and similar tires. I really want to avoid ruining more tire$ and correct the high speed front end "float" I am experiencing. I wont be autocrossing but would like to get some confidence back in the front end.

I cant do anything too high end like ridetech or TVS but am open to all suggestions. I wont be able to replace bushings and such right now since I have to replace my tires but that is in the near future.. I think the springs/shocks will correct my immediate issues...so.....whaddaya think!

1968 Camaro convertible. 383ci, 700R4, C5 13" brakes up front and C5 wheels all around. Oh! anda Hydroboost unit too!
