Original Iron V heads and intake are way out of my price range, if you can even find a decent set for sale. But a couple of guys are making them in Aluminum, hopefully they'll get them figured out and in production. My plan is to get a set once they do.
Always been my goal to have a complete V, actually it could be considered a RA-VII with the 4" stroke crank and dual fours, the VII's were factory experimentals, only a handful every got built.

It's a shame Pontiac had to kill their performance programs like the RAV headed engines, the OHC 427 and such. Ive always wondered why GM made them do it? Such impressive numbers achieved for the day. They could have been dominant and almost no one knows about any of it.

Both of your power plants are super nice! I dig 'em and like how you put them together. I've always painted stuff separate too. Looks so much cleaner when the gaskets have no paint, etc. Nice job!!!

Not much to report as far as major progress, mainly aligning body panels and figuring out fuel lines for the dual 4's.
But I did get the Nitto's on, had to install longer sheel studs, those YO 17 x 9's have some thick hubs.
I'll eventually angle cut the exhaust tips, just in no hurry for that.

Hey, progress is progress!!! Keep it going, 15 minutes here, an hour there, a late night there, an entire weekend since the family went to visit the mother in law, sweet!!!

those are some amazing machines.

I just finished installing 20 new wheel studs last night for my new wheels. With 20 studs and lug nuts, I was surprised how fast the bill added up. Oh well, its done now and I might roll down the hill and fill the tank with some new gas ;)
