      newbie here

hi everyone, my names dan, im in the process of putting together a 69 chevelle. technically i guess i should say im in the process of redoing my car. i had it set up for the street/strip and pretty much lost interest in going straight for a quarter mile at a time. as of right now the car has a 454 60 over, turbo 400, 12 bolt w/4.11. its hugger orange, black vinyl top, and black SS stripes down the center. i think its time for soemthing alittle more modern though. future plans include dropping it on the ground, big wheels, new paint, perhaps a twin turbo little block, and i would really like to drop a 6 speed in it. i am also in the process of doing a custom fiberglass interior, as well as camaro buckets in the back.

Sweet. When I found my 65 SS ragtop, I was looking for either a 65 or a 69. Pics like yours make me wonder if I should have held out for a 69. Very nice.

Welcome! From the pics, that looks like a pretty solid car to start with. Sounds like you're headed in the right direction

Do you still believe in all the things that you stood by before? Are you out there on the front lines, or at home keeping score?
Do you care to be the layer of the bricks that seal your fate? Would you rather be the architect of what we might create?
