Question - Fuel Vent "kit" for RideTech billet (Larry cap) gas cap
I bought the fuel vent kit that taps into the existing plug in the ridetech billet gas cap (67-68 Camaro). I'm wondering how the line should be run and if it should be run to some kind of a vent valve. I do not want anything billet or "special" as I need to do this on the cheap while maintaining the safety of my car. Has anyone successfully used a vent/valve for their car that wasn't super expensive?

I just ran my line along the body above the tail light in the trunk with a 90degree turn after the light towards the floor and the drilled a small hole in the trunk pan for the hose to exit, the hose hangs about four inches under the floor and since it dosnt move I sealed around the hose with black weatherstripping adhesive

Do you have much fuel to spill out of the vent line?

If you install finch dual vent or II much vent should you just plug the hole in the ridetech tube?

I would say the answer to that is, "Yes, put the plug in that hole." I just want something like an OE vent/valve that allows venting without fuel spillage.

I haven't had any fuel spillage in 4years, I was just at streets of willow and the top corner off the straight is a 90mph corner and not a drop

I ran mine this weekend. My car has a pretty good sized rust hole on the interior panel of the rear quarter so I ran the line out through there rather than drill another hole in the body. Hopefully I'll have similar luck to yours Rodney! (just wish I was as talented a driver as you are - maybe I'll get there one day!)
