      Ok, OK Pictures Already!

For those that asked, here are a few shots of the malibu. I am real happy with the way it turned out, now I got to do something with the original interior.

Oh, sorry if you thought GTO

Very nice. It serves as an inspiration to all who cannot afford a traditional late sixties/early seventies classic.

      Thanks for the comments guys,

Darrin, the interior is the original, stock deal with the exception of a monte carlo SS dash with gauges. I am thinking some type of buckets, but got to get the other project finished right now.

Steve, You are so right, these cars are still reasonablely priced and the truth be know (even though it is not politically correct here-LOL) are a much better car than an original 69 camaro. You have a full frame to start with and many parts for improving the performance.
This was a simply project with new front end parts, 9" rear, QA1s and new springs all around. ZZ4 with eldebrock heads, 700r4. Of course, the A/C still works and that is a good thing in Tennessee right now. I added rear disk brakes and will probably upgrade the front ones with wilwood when I redue the front spindles.

I think the G-body cars will be the next classic that everyone rebuilds, but for now they are still cheap to find and really drive well when you finish them.
      Thanks again,
      Bill

Sweet ride, The two tone paint looks great on the car. I also think those cars will be some of the next classics.

What kind of brakes did you use for the rear? Do they retain the Ebrake?
