Beginner susp upgrades, need help.

Hey guys, after a lot of years of looking at my high school 67 RS/SS collect dust, I think I'm ready to start redoing it. Here's what I am thinking, and I would like any input anyone has to give. I have decent mechanical skills, but hot a huge budget (that all goes to the wife, kids, and farm)!! However, my son has been on me to get this thing running again.



Starting with the suspension, I am thinking AFX front spindles, Speed Inc, upper and lower Aarms, and a front rebuild kit from PST, along with new body mounts (already have shocks, and lowering coils, gonna skip coilovers for now). I have a friend that is going to blast and coat my sub for me for very cheap if I take it to him bare. I already have hotchkis front and rear sways, and for now, am just going to do Hotchkis drop springs with new shackles and bushings for the rear.

Brakes, I have had a few vettes and have collected a few leftovers. I currently have a C6Z. But I have a set of c5 calipers, C6 z51 drilled rotors for front and rear, and was going to order a Kore3 kit to make it all work. I think that should give me a nice upgrade for susp and brakes to start with. Is there anything I have left out, or am over looking in starting with this? Lemme know, thanks!!

The suspension part would be good and give good performance. I have the ats spindles with all hotchkis and the stance is very good. The brakes will bolt to the ats spindles without any mods and you could run the fourth gen camaro rear setup, this is the same as I have. I think you will be happy with what you have chosen and the performance will be far better than stock.

the shocks are going to make or break any package you put on the car and you say you have them already? what are they? the Hocthkis setup with the ATS spindles is a great setup but you still need VERY GOOD shocks to complete the deal

I forget which exact shock they are, bought them awhile ago (they are a street touring shock). I can always replace shocks, so if any one is preferred over another for street cruising, then I am open to suggestions.
