Test vehicle needed for aluminum subframe bushings

      Hi all,

We are looking for one 1st gen Camaro owner with a stock, rust-free subframe who would like to test our new billet aluminum subframe bushings.

We will send you a free set of bushings, hardware, and instructions.

Here is what we would need in return:

      • Detailed photos of your installation
      • Any recommended changes to our instructions, based on your experience with installation
      • All of this completed within 1 week of receiving the bushings (we're on a time deadline)

If you're interested, please post up here with a few links to similar how-to posts that you have done. Pro photographer would be a huge plus.

      Thanks!

      Hey Zack,

We can do this for you with plenty of pics, too. I am ccurrently building a 67 Firebird with an 6.0lsx and a t56, we have had the subframe seams welded and powder coated. I am able to turn this around the same day the bushings arrive at our shop. The easiest way to see some of our work Is to check our facebook page; 3 GUYS GARAGE.

Well, we finally got the Proforged subframe bushings installed. Pics along with a critique went to Proforged today. I can say that even though subframe bushings are pretty much the same, Proforged has come through with a quality product that I can honestly recommend to anyone looking to do this upgrade on the f and x body gm platforms. These bushings are the interlocking type, anodized black, come with all the needed hardware and instructions. I compared them to Speedtech and Guldstrand offerings. The Proforged and Speedtech kits are complete and well thought out. either one is a good decision. The Guldstrand kit has non-interlocking bushings and no hardware. Even though the Guldstrand kit works I personally prefer the interlocking style from Proforged as tested by us.

I got mine via fedex today. Look like a quality piece at a nice price point.
