Th350 tran not shifting

Hey guys,

First I'll admit, I'm by no means a mechanic. But I'm learning through this site and by searching.

Here's my problem: When I am in first or second gear the transmission will not shift up, it will just keep revving. I was told it was a vacuum line with not enough vacuum to make it shift. Does that sound right? and How can I fix this? The transmission only has about 7000 miles on it. It started acting up like this last summer and I'm just getting out of the garage now. What are my options?

Sounds about right mine does it from time to time. The vacuum module is on the passengers side close to the x member check to male sure its pushed all the way in. If it came all tje way ofg make sure both fittings are clean as you dont want junk in the module and line. Hope it helps some.

You may have to replace the modulator. Very common for these to fail.
