Man what a great start! Take a look at the link below detailing an install that a fellow Pro-Touring member member here completed with our Ford 9 in. kit in his 1973 Firebird:

      https://www.pro-touring.com/showthre...ght=TORQUE+ARM

The owner of the 73 Firebird made the following comments to us:

“I've put 4000 miles on it and drive it at every possible opportunity. No track time yet due to other commitments but there is always this spring. I still have to play with the shock settings to soften up the launch, it is just incredible how the car reacts from the factory setup. The rear stays planted no matter if it's in the corners or straights. I've had ZERO issues with the entire setup, I'm EXTREMELY HAPPY with it. I hope to get some auto-x & road course time this spring.”

I still can't thank you all there enough for everything, the kit really changed the car into a ride that I truly enjoy driving.”

Sweet 'Bird! I've got a 1970 I'm wheeling into the shop soon, I've always wondered how those Shelby scoops would look on our cars... Not bad!

I used to see one of these on my paper route (Sacramento Bee!) when I was a kid--the hood just killed me. I think it had a 160 mph speedo. I wanted one, and eventually got a '68 400 f-bird, but the early-'70s model is the favorite. It should be great!

I think the side scoops work with the hood really well too.

Thanks everyone, ill be making a build thread here pretty soon. Nothing changed to the car yet besides the fact that i finely got an 06 GTO donor to do my swap. As for scoops that's what got me when i saw this car on Craigslist. They go with the hood very well.

Search for a 69 trans am with a gto interior by samco (I think that's his username) he installed the complete gto interior and it looks good!

Thanks, I think I've seen it before. Is it the white one with blue pin stripes?
