Newbie checking in from Clear Lake, TX
Greetings all! I found this site while contemplating doing a car that would be similar to what my father drove off the lot in 1969. It was a midnight blue Camaro SS 350 with the white hockey stripes and no cowl hood. Looks like the hard part will be finding a reasonable car to start with, but I've got a little time. I've been working on my own cars for nearly 20 years and am currently helping my friend build his 36 Ford coupe to take to speed week this August in Bonneville. I have been amazed at the wealth of information on this site and am looking forward to getting my car and starting my build. I look forward to hearing from all of you!

Im just up 45N in the woodlands and my dads got a 36 ford going as well. Good Luck on finding a suitable camaro for your project.
