Ok, I'm ready to install my new TMI houndstooth interior into my '69 Camaro.
My car is by no means original and I was thinking of leaving the back rest
Buttons out.
What do you guys think? Opinions?

Hmmm that's really a matter of personal opinion. Just depends on how 'factory' you want your seats to look! Either way, post up some pictures when you're done.

Looks really good. Did you do the install yourself?

Thanks, I pulled out the seats and had a upholstery shop put the new foams and covers on and I just reinstalled

What do you think of the TMI sport seat bolstering? Many on the net believe that without steel reinforcement, the padding gives little if any support. Have you driven the car hard with the new seats yet? If so, how is the lateral support compared to stock?

Hey, only had the seats in for one day, haven't driven it "hard" yet. I do believe it does give move support then stock,
but its never going to compare to a true performance seat like a Recaro.
I really like the stock factory style though.
