Stamped floor pan sections for chassis cars?

I'll ask a new guy question here:

I've started noticing on some full frame builds that the floor and trunk pans, and firewall sections appear to be made out of stamped panels. They aren't the factory panels, and they look too consistent to be made by hand. But I can't seem to find where you would get these if they exist.

      Can you actually buy these?

      Thanks,
      Alex

Hate to disappoint you, but those are hand made. Most are done on a bead roller, some are done on a pullmax.

Interesting. So that machine can create the stepped design on the panel? My sheet metal fab experience is shear, brake, punch, and weld. Obviously, they laid out a pattern then. Just curious about the process to create that stepped design.

Here is the most epic bead rolling thread ever. Some of it is art stuff but the process is the same.
