What does a Moser/Strange complete rear axle typically cost?

I'm just curious at this point but I would like to know approximately what I can expect to pay if I order a new 12 bolt rear axle from Moser or Strange with the ridetech axles already welded on? I'm not planning anything exotic, just a nice new axle with a TruTrac or WavLoc. I plan to reuse my existing Wilwood brakes and just replace the mounting flange/brackets so I won't have to buy a whole new brake setup to save money. I'm thinking probably a 3.73:1 or 3:90 gear - definitely not going back with a 4.11 since it's just too steep for street driving. I know the WavLoc adds about $800-900 but other than that what can I expect - $2200-2400 or more?

I hope to resell my old 12 bolt so that'll help recoup some of the cost and I plan to rebuild and sell the 6.0 out of my truck (2003 Silverado). I'd love to only be into a new axle for around $1000 but I just don't know if I'm being realistic. Can someone please either bring me down to earth or shoot me on to the stars???

My Moser 12-bolt was $1625.00 delivered five years ago. Standard width for a 68 Camaro, 12-bolt, 3.55 gears, c-clip eliminators. At the time I just called them up and told them what I was trying to do and they gave me a quote including shipping cost and they stuck to it. They're good people to deal with, give them a call.

I should also say that my buddy has a Strange rear end in his 67 Chevelle and has been happy with it as well as swearing by Strange. He won Hot Rod Dragweek last year in the small block N/A class and has put his driveline through far more than I have with my Moser. FWIW- I'm at 597hp with a BBC and he's at almost 700hp if I remember correctly with his small block. I don't think you could go wrong with either company.

I paid 2200.00 for my S60 with the Detroit locker upgrade for my Chevelle last year, well worth the coin....

Mosers website is awesome. Really user friendly as far as pricing and options go. I just paid $3,150 for a flange-to-flange 12 bolt with a Trutrac. (Wavetrac would have cost more)

Don't be afraid to call, that's what we're here for. We have had great feedback on the S-60 in many Pro-Touring applications. Our S-Track differential, it's a Helical Gear style Diff like the Wave Track and TrueTrack, has been rock solid.
I do apologize that our website is a bit of an antique, we are working on it. Give us a call when you want.
