Just bought a 68 Camaro

Hi guys I have been on this site for almost two years and have been following everyone elses builds and now its my turn. I just bought a 68 camaro here is a list of what the car has and also a list of what I want. If any of you guys have been in my spot please give me info on what you think might help this build go along. I'm not looking to build a show car I want something that I can drive on the streets and once in a while take it on the track. My budget in middle of the road lets say around 10k to put into car.

What car has now is is very stock:
Inline 6 250ci
3 speed
drum brakes
10bolt
car has air

Plans for car:
LS or LQ
5-6 speed
disc brakes
upgraded suspension
18-19 inch wheels



I know there are a lot of other part but that is the jist of what I'm trying to do.Please leave any suggestion you might have.
