2nd Gen Exhaust system with DSE Quadralink

Has anyone installed their own exhaust system in conjunction with the DSE Quadralink setup? I'm looking for a mandrel bent 3" system, already have Borla XR1s, and would like to install an X-Pipe.

I'm looking for feedback if anyone has found a universal or "vehicle specific" kit that has rendered positive results. I'd like to eliminate buying a kit, then getting in a jam for more bends/straights etc. if at all possible.

I highly doubt you will find a kit that's going to work, a kit will probably work for the front section in front of the axle but once you get over the axle it gets very tight. Here's a pic of how DSE did my x pipe and one of the tailpipes, we did do some floorpan mods to tuck the exhaust up since the car is very low.

Thanks Tim, that looks really nice. What coating did you guys use on the floor pans and exhaust? I'm going to black out the exhaust as well, I was considering the high temp "stove" paint or and engine enamel... not sure yet.

The floorpans are undercoated with 3M undercoating, the exhaust is coated with our 1300* black coating.

Look at Stielow's Camaro XV build on lat-g. He shows some fab work they do in the trunk to give room to get the exhaust over the axle. Should work in a second gen.

What happened to DSE exhaust parts not being available through Holley/Hooker. Headers for DSE subframe and Quadralink exhaust for the and gen Camaro are no longer available??
