Newbie From The Houston, Texas Area Ready To Convert From Drag Racing.

Hello All,
I’m new here. I’ve been lurking for a while and finally joined. My reason for lurking and finally joining is the following: I have a 95 Mustang Cobra stock type suspension drag car that I’m going to convert into a pro-touring type. Why? Well I’m tired of chasing drag racing classes and them changing the rules every year. Before you know the class is out of control or gone. Spend too much time changing the car up and not enjoying it.
I really love the pro-touring type cars and am really looking forward to this.
I just removed a aluminum 598” with twin GT47/88 Turbos with 3000HP air to water IC. I think I’m going to go with a 363 TT or a new 5.0 Coyote TT.
I have a well-built chassis, 25.5 roll cage, thru the floor sub frame, stock-type suspension with Strange Double adjustable coil overs front and rear, chromoly fab 9”, 40 spline gun drilled axles, 5/8 studs, etc. I realize I will likely have to change the third member and put in a limited slip and maybe 35 spline axles with smaller wheel studs
I know I’ll have to ditch the Powerglide and the Strange Pro-Street Brakes. This is definitely two areas I need help to decide what to go with. 4 or 6 speed auto or 6 speed manual? Big brakes? Which ones?
For the electronics I’m running Big Stuff 3 with race pack, an ultra-dash and MSD Digital 7. I think I’ll be able to keep a lot of this.

I've got 15" Weld Wheels on the car now, with double beadlocks in the rear. These will be gone and replaced with 18" or 19" wheels.
Any ways, my real plans are just to have fun again. I’d really like to even run some of the top speed events like the Texas Mile.
I hope to gain a lot of good knowledge here.

My votes a 363 na e85. More than enough power for autocross.

Thanks, i think i am leaning towards the 363 but am considering twin turbo 76/75 with .82 housings.
