Just looking at the instructions seems kind of sketchy. The upper bar doesn't even get bolted to the frame rails, it gets bolted to (what appear to be pretty flimsy) little mounting brackets by a single bolt...

my second question is...why?.... having a non staggerd leaf spring setup will have less traction and will ride with more bounce, thats the reason only the 1967 camaro was non staggared and they added a traction bar to try and stop the bouncing rearend, after that GM made every leafspring car staggered

Probably for clearance. I had to take them out to get my LS1 brakes to fit. So I either have to run them inboard or change suspension setups. Probably gonna go with something from ridetech.

Yes I'm running corvette C6 Z51 rotors and C5 Z06 calipers.. So one caliper will hit the shock u less u stagger the calipers and I didn't want to do that.. The bar bolt to the upper bump stop area on the frame rail..

Yeah I didn't want to stagger my calipers either. Would have made things a hell of a lot easier, but I just didn't like the idea.

But honestly I'd look towards another relocation kit. I'm no guru, though, so hopefully someone more knowledgable will chime in.
