Very cool - my car participated in one of these events in the late 80's. I still have the sticker on the windshield because it's too cool to remove.

I live about 15 miles from this event and remember going all 3 days all day long every year. Looked like a well done lobster when Sunday evening rolled around after it was over with. I'm thrilled to have them come back ... already put in my days off at work ...

We had one at the Cal Expo in Sac in 81. Was a great time. Only year they held it around here. Would be great to see them come back to Nor Cal again as well.

Been to a few of them, in the Mid-West and always thought the DuQuoin was the best spot for it. State Troopers were assigned and always were good about a little playing as long as it remained safe. Some of the other places had some over zealous police, writing minor equipment and other minor citations, that the DuQuoin guys always overlooked. Like I said as long as everyone was safe they were cool about flexing some muscle. Definitely will be there, unfortunately without a car.
