68 camaro inner door frame job

So I needed to repair my 68 driver side inner door frame and side cowl! I'm at the point of setting in the inner part of the side cowl but I'm not sure how high the right side of that panel has to come up to? It's clamped up right now and when I clamp in the outer piece it sits fine at the top ridge with a slight slope down as it gets to the right side. I was told that to get this set first and then work the inner door frame off of it with of course fitting the door and checking the glass fitment
