      suspension on buick centurion

ok gentlemen... i have a 73 buick centurion oh yes bout forgot its a four door. dont laugh to hard its a father son project. trying to get ready to take it on power tour this year. I am trying to lower the car but cannot find any body that makes a lowering spring for the rear. I cut the front ones they are fine. I really dont want to spend the money for an air ride system. goal is to lower the car 1-2 inches. can anybody help or have any ideas. thanks. Cory

If it is coils in the rear I would look at some circle track springs. I don't know what spring rate would be best though someting in the low to mid 200lb range maybe? http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Hyperc...x-11,5878.html add some adjusters for the top and you can dial in your ride height. these http://www.speedwaymotors.com/AFCO-A...cer,49203.html or these depending on how much height you need http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Speedw...him,33328.html you could do the same for the front as well if you don't like the ride of your cut ones. Just measure the diameter of your stock ones to determine if you need 5 or 5.5 inch springs.
