Need ideas for Utilizing Alpha Nav in 63 corvette

Looking for fabrication ideas for how to mount Alpha Nav DIN radio in a 63 split window corvette restomod.
Thought about system to raise it up from speaker on top of dash.
      Other ideas welcome.
      Thanks

Check out the stuff made by MCI in the interior section. He makes some really nice options that I will be looking at to do the same on my build.

Can you post a picture of the dash? BTW that is one of the most beautiful cars on the planet ever made in my humble opinion. I would trade my car, shop and possibly a few family members to own one of those.

      I love the split windows!
with the waterfall being so narrow, you could get a remote touch screen, that is retractable and mount it in the speaker area.
then you can have it go up to adjust the radio or use the nave. then retract it down into the dash for radio on or off.
then you could ditch the factory radio, and add gauges.

If it's wide enough, how about attaching the center speaker grill with hinges along the front edge and attach a double din touch screen radio to the bottom of it. A small actuator could push it up from the closed position.

Also, google the Infiniti G35 factory nav and check out how it slides up when turned on. Pretty trick setup, maybe you could find an aftermarket one to work similarly to that.
