I'm a bit late coming to this thread, mainly because I wanted to actually get my copy which finally arrived Thursday (I need to complain about that...). Anyway, I have to say I really felt a bit of validation about some of my screwy ideas about good PT alternatives when I saw KH's Torino rendering. Nice work! It looked every bit as killer as I thought it would from my mediocre photochops. Now, I'd love to see a '71-'74 Cougar... maybe next time.

I am really grooving on the Cougar and the Laguna, but the Ventura has its assets also. It would be really cool if one but a Ventura up as a Trans Am, much like Steve Strope is building a Nova as a Z/28 now. Drop a 455 under the hood (with a shaker scoop, of course!), back it with a Tremec, fit it with J18 disc brakes all around, shod it with PS Engineering rims, and one would really be ready to rock and roll!!!
That slotted grille does make the Ventura look totally cool!

I can't recall whether it was me or Johnny, pretty sure I did it and I believe I took credit for it earlier in this thread. So yeah, sorry.
For what it's worth, I was pushing pretty hard to do several G-Bodies, but in the end was only told to do the Cutlass. I would have liked to have done the GN or Monte. I also like the G-Bodie El Caminos. Maybe next time...

Well, I figured I'd just sit down and do one... It needs more work, and some detail stuff like a nice dovetail spoiler and a front airdam, but I think it might be pretty darn cool. Originally Posted by DarkBuddha

That is sick. sick. sick. Is it me or is that one of the coolest bodystyles.If I built one I would have the exhaust stick through the rocker and have aluminum spoiler front and back.Also a gloss black car with the nascar graphics and numbers in flat black.
