Thanks man. I've been a good boy and kept it quiet for the past what...6 months? It was definitely a juggling act with the PHR project, regular freelance work, and then my 9-6 day job. Yup, I've been busy, but enjoying almost every minute of it!

damn i know the place i get my mags are so slow in putting them up or something..steve why wasnt your car the centerfold last month?..i wanted to frame it for insperation while building mine..they need to make posters of some of these cars available ,tha'd be cool

I can not believe it, got mine in the mail today. Usually it is about a week later than the first ones out. Must have a new crew in the local post office.

Probably the best issue since I started back reading PHR. That or the simple fact I know alot of the people mentioned or in print this month. It is neat to feel so associated with a national publication. I think we can all thank Larry, Johnny, Steve and others that promote the Protouring scene, both here and in PHR.
Kris's renderings are as usual dead on, even though there are several cars that I personally would not pick ( the Imperial,Cutlass and Lincoln).
I really like the Torino and the Laguna. However, being the oddball that I am, my favorite is the Riviera. It kinda reminds me of another GM body about the same shape and year.

You know, I am into the Prosled movement too.
Kutos to Michael, Andrew,Frank and the whole crew at Prodigy. It is refreshing to see an up and coming pro that is not building rice.

Lots of reasons.. sometimes it's a deal we make to get a car, sometimes it is driven by business reasons but most of the time it goes to the car that ended up in the "best picture".. best color, composure and all that stuff..

Thanks for the compliment. I am working on a "wallpaper" section to my website where large images will be held for download. We don't do many posters because they are extremely expensive.

Glad you like it.. I on the other hand have already gotten a hate-mail for a budding comic that hates the whole pro-touring g-machine thing. Sometimes I think they just try and be witty in order to get in the magazine. A tiny sample..

...I'm to the point that at car shows I can't stand to look at a "G" car anymore, you've shoved your idea of your perfect car down my throat so far I'm gagging at the first glimpse of one! That doesn't make the persons car any less of a nice car but your idealistic ways of what you think every car should be has left such a bad taste in my mouth that I can't go near one. In this issue, October 2005, you can't even fill the pages with real cars, you've got 12 pages, plus a cover shot of cars that are just smoke and mirrors! Are you in bed with the Primedia honchos or something? ...

Most of the mail is positive though.. Anyone want to bet this guy has a tubbed Vega with a 671 that runs high 13's..

Oh, the 10 rendered cars only displaced ONE feature car (of a real car).. I think it was worth it to show people that "out of the box" cars can be cool too. And, as a side note, I wouldn't have picked a couple of the cars either but as the FNG that is not my call, I think they do all look cool and I am jonesing for a Laguna right now.. lol

Sorry, I forgot to mention John Parson's 7 page spread on the rearend of his car. Way over my head as far as the techno info goes, but cool article anyway. That car is going to be a beast, I can not wait to see it.

Congrats to Prodigy! I saw the car a couple of weeks ago and it looked awsome!

I take credit for that. Some of the cars on the original list were hopeless cases, so I made a push for something a little more mainstream, but something that hasn't been done in the PT style very much.
