275-40-17 tire

Hello, Im looking for a 275-40-17 tire and a 17x9.5" rim with a 4.5" bs with a S10 bolt pattern. Im waiting this stuff as cheap as possible, as long and the tire holds air and the rim isnt bent I dont care about anything else, if at all possible I would love the tire to be a nitto so I know the size for mock up will be exactly the same but Im not going to be choosy. If anyone finds a site where I can buy a rim the size i need new for about $100 bucks before i do that would be nice also, thats prolly the route im going to go so i only have to order my pricey rims once. Thanks for any help.

Hey Miles I have some insight but it's not exactly as you stated, but maybe will help in some way.

Sounds like you're after something used, but if you had to go new, my wheels aren't far off. I bought them from Discount tire, called MB old school, $150 ea. They're 17x9.5 but have a 5.5 BS. G-body's and S10s share front suspension parts, and my wheels with 275s fit fine with factory hubs cut down to accept LS Camaro rotors, maybe 1/4" thick, plus a 10mm spacer. Another option is the under $100 black steel wheels, but I think they're 17x9 not 9.5. Good luck!

im just wanting used junk, one tire and one rim for mock up before i buy all new, pics are blocked at work so once i get home ill have a look at your stuff, im not really set on tire and rim size yet, 17" tires are dead and i really dont like the look of 18's on an s10 so im just playing around with mock up stuff at the moment

so i got the chance to look you stuff up, pretty interesting, as far as i know the lower and uppers and the spindles can be interchanged between g-bodys and s10s, the stuff that is different is the steering stuff since the s10 is about 4 or 5 inches narrower, Im going to really have to do some measuring this weekend to get this figured out
