I'm trying to figure out how much drop will coil overs get me without going with drop spindles! Any pics or advise?

If you are talking about a generic race car type coil over shock, you can get any ride height you want. The "hybrid" coil overs that use the beehive spring and stock shock mounts only have a couple of different spring rates available IIRC. Have you searched through some of the older threads to see what results people had with them?

Below in the link is a "hybrid" coil over kit that Ray was speaking of. With these kits we are able to achieve stock height and 3" lower.

I hope this helps some, we will be glad to help with any other questions.

Any Coil overs with or without drop spindles?

Thanks guys, I think I've decided I don't need to go with drop spindles if I can get 3" drop out of a coil over!

If you've read much on here, I know I sound like a broken record; but I'd set the suspension drop at whatever gets the lower control arm level (ball joint to mounting bolt). If that's not enough, THEN go to the drop spindle to get the rest.

I agree 100% with ^^^^^^ Need to look at keeping components in their sweet spot, not just the amount of drop.
