      Battery shut off... incognito

ANyone have any neat ideas on a incognito battery cutoff ? One for trackdays where Batt can be shutoff form outside car... you see these in drag race cars more frequently.
I want something I could clearly label with a magnet or something.. for track days... then remove the label for daily use...

I have seen them in tail lights but on my car the lights are pretty far form the corner of the car... its still an option but was looking to see what others have done.

I hid the battery cutoff on a 71 Camaro I had behind the folddown license plate (car had a fuel cell). It was to the side of where the filler neck was and the plate hid it well. The only thing I had to do at the dragstrip was to either remove the plate bracket or tied it in the down position.

On my 96 Camaro I used the trunk lock to operate the switch. On track days I would put the key in the trunk and put a piece of marked tape next to it. (and just used the electric release to open the trunk).

I don't think keyed switches are legal but I never got hassled for it.

I also did the license plate trick on a previous car. Mount it behind plate with switch removed for street use.

I mounted the switch inside the trunk and put a rod out the back right under the taillight on my 3rd gen. For the track, I can put the rod through the hole and thread it onto the switch. The rest of the time I can take it off and no one knows it's there (just can't shut the battery off without it unless I re-wire power to the electric hatch pulldown)
