Custom Driveshaft...From Who?

I wanted to bring this old post back because since I got a 9" and moved over to a T-56 I needed a shortened driveshaft. Looking into Shaft Masters again and looked a few more variables. I was going to go back to Shaft Masters but noticed that their lifetime warranty on workmanship and welds seems to have dropped to a year. Denny's driveshaft was probably the most expensive, but they have a good name out there. What drove me away from them was the long turn time and the prices are the highest. I was looking at their site and they all come with slip yokes. I asked if I could get one without a slip yoke and they would but only a $35 deduction from the price...Looked at the site and the cheapest yoke they had was $65. So I guess I was lucky enough to still pay for the profit they would have made on it.



I ended up buying from Inland Empire. The price was $500 without a slip yoke, but they are local, a sponsor, and said they would stand by the shaft for my ownership tenure.

Seeing that all these companies use the same Forged Weld Yokes and 6061T6 aluminum, Im going to post pictures of it here for comparison with ShaftMasters.
