you know in my HONEST opinion..

when they do these conversions they might as well GET RID of the WINDSHIELD.. and even the convert top.

what they SHOULD do is make a removable 69 Camaro roof out of Fiberglass that is elongated slightly then use a 69 camaro glass.

similar to this... with a new windshield..

then SLAM the car on some nice wheels...

after that the thing will be tolerable... TOLERABLE.

I agree, it screams scam; "Turing" "posy" "atention". They need to pay more atention to the details themselves.

Love it our hate it! But you can't deny this person has spent a lot time and money building this car. Honestly it looks like they did a decent job. It looks to have 275's all the way around. I bet its a fun ride. Too bad they didn't use an ls1 to start.

The original guy who designed and built this type of late model Camaro conversion is in London Ky. He still builds them and his cars are very well done and are nice cars.

Several of his LS cars have sold for $50K-$60K.

I would definitely own one of the London Ky built cars.

Here are some for sale ads for the London Ky cars:

2002-1969 CHEVY CAMARO BY BERGER SOLD SOLD SOLD Details: If Chevrolet had the technology in 1969 that it has today you would be looking at this car. This car is a modern tribute to the famous 1969 Camaro body with all the modern conveniences. We have built over 15 cars to date and have really enjoyed the response they receive from our customers. We have done both convertibles and coupes with various powertrains and saved this special car for Barrett-Jackson 2010. This car is a real 2002 Berger SS #74 Camaro convertible that has been re-skinned to look like the 1969 Camaro RS/SS convertible. This Berger car is a factory 380hp LS1 with the 6-speed transmission and performs beautifully with both great performance and fuel mileage. No shortcuts or body structure is damaged during this conversion and she handles like a stock Berger Camaro. This car is loaded with the following options: factory Sunset Orange paint with black houndstooth interior, power top, power windows, power disc brakes, power locks, AM/FM with CD changer, air conditioning and all factory options from both Chevrolet and Berger with no deletes for the conversion. This car has a clean title and ****** with no accident or salvage history. The car is documented with all Chevrolet paperwork, Berger paperwork and complete binder documenting the transformation process. This car had 5800 miles on it before work was done and has been driven over 300 test miles since completion. We can honestly say this is the only Berger car in the country to receive this package, making it a truly one off car. Call for more details 606-878-9231 or check out Barrett Jackson Auctions in Scottsdale AZ on Jan 21st lot # 697 if you would like to own this super special Camaro.
