Ford Boss 302 331 Stroked Motor

Ford Boss 302 331 Stroked Motor

The motor should put out between 530 HP to 560 HP based on calculations that were done yet was built to be streetable. The motor is complete and includes an aluminum flywheel for 5 speed and Ford Racing SFI Bellhousing. All you need to do is hook up the fuel line and carburetor of you choice. You will also a Ignition Box to power the new MSD distributor.

In building this motor I sourced several parts from around the county. I made attempts to use US made parts wherever possible. Even some from NASCAR shops in North Carolina like Roush Fenway.
The Bryant Crank has been gun drilled and polished and is a thing of beauty. Pistons are custom ordered through Diamond Pistons.
The heads were custom ordered through AFR then ported by Doug at Precision Oil Pumps.

I'm very late to this, as I would likely have just bought your motor. I'm on the same path now and building the same engine with one of the 3.255 Bryant NASCAR cranks, and I really need to learn about those custom pistons. Was this a piston guided rod setup? I'm not sure how the Nissan rods work out exactly on the Bryant crank. There is one other option, running Nissan rods bushingless reamed for a .927 piston pin with off the shelf 4.125 Mahle pistons, for a big bore short stroke 348. Trouble is the rod guiding not sure how that's going to work.

Any specs or advice on those custom pistons is GREATLY appreciated!

The member that posted the engine for sale hasn't logged on to the forum for 2 years so I wouldn't expect a quick reply.
