      BK Chicken Fries

Anybody else wierded out by the BK Chicken Fries commercials? It's not the content that wierds me out, but rather that a mainstream corporation would decide to run commercials of a "suggestive nature"

Man with rooster on his head hand feeding a chicken frie to a babe who's head is at his waist level. Bob your head? And the name of the band? Coq Roq.

Oh, and what part of the chicken do Chicken Fries actually come from?

      http://www.coqroq.com/

I guess the campaign is working so far since I've started this thread.

Ive been seeing those Coq Roq commercials and pondering if they are serious? Mcdonalds has all the rappers, so I guess BK is gonna have their version of rock....well, I still dont like to eat at those places. SUBWAY all the way.

Burger King DOES has some goofy commercials and websites. Have you seen www.subservientchicken.com - it's a chicken and you type in a command and he does it. I should clarify - it's a guy in his apartment in a chicken costume.
Go ahead... you know you want to see it.

Why command a chicken when you can command a very, very hot female bartender!

The chicken fries commercials are definitely really weird. It reminds me of the guys from gladiator when they were all dressed for battle in the various animals heads and what not signing, or atleast trying to sing. "One nation under chicken"? Right. Strange stuff I tell you. Taco Bell is the only fast food I usually eat. No beef, just the chicken. Chicken Quesadilla

I have no idea what you're talking about, and for some reason that seems to be extra-disturbing in this case. Was that an ad you were talking about?

      LOL, let me explain.

In the chicken fries commercial, the guys in the band are all wearing chicken type costumes that cover their heads, kind of like enlarged chicken heads. At least that's what I remember the commercial to be like, I only saw it once.

Then, there is a scene in the movie "Gladiator" where a few of the gladiators getting ready to do battle are wearing animal carcases, one of which is a wolf or something like that, and it covers his head. They look similar to the chicken fries commercial band.

no doubt. I ran out of ideas before burger king did apparently. It did everything I thought of.

jumping jacks, roll, sit. pushups, dance, breakdance, show face, take off the costume (he showed me he couldnt) etc.

      "Read a book" (surprisingly) worked.

"Turn off the lamp" and "Go pluck yourself" didn't.

"Dance" did a different dance than "Do the funky chicken" did.

In a reply to Steve's thread starter, it makes almost as much sense as Jessica Simpson saying her video for the Dukes movie wasn't provocative or suggestive.

Ok, I think that the BK commericals are almost "Clockwork Orange" type! Did Oliver Stone come up with them?!? The king looking thru the window in the morning really gives me the creeps! Freakin wierdo!!
The chicken in the living room is also quite disturbing. I told him a few things and it did, then I said bye now and he took a bow and waved bye! They are slowly pulling you in and next thing you know, you will be a follower of the King Chicken!! MMMMMmmmm........Chicken.........
