      Project "Venomous Viper" build

I started this project almost ten years ago. I got this car at the age of 17 from my step father. I drove it every where! went to a couple local car shows but over the years it started to show its age. i decided it was time for a rebuild. this started as a 1967 Pontiac Beaumont with a stock 327. The original plan was to restore my car but one thing led to another and.... The "Venomous Viper" took shape.

      Body: 1967 Pontiac Beaumont
Powers train: 1998 dodge viper twin turbo
      Estimated power: 950hp

Just about everything on this car has been customized in some way. That's why this project has taken soo long!

I have taken progress picture of this build from day one

since this project started so long ago, I will start from where I am today, feel free to look at my library on photobucket.

I had to modify the front inner coolers so that the hood could close.

I mounted the stainless steel fuel tank.

I installed the vintage air heat/ac unit in the dash. I started to plumb and wire it too.

Installed the Ididit steering colour and billet steering wheel.

Started on a bit of wiring too.

Seats are mounted. They will get recovered in black leather with red stitching. I also plan on removing the plastic seat parts and building them up a bit.

I'm so glad you posted this here. I've been following on another board for a while. The V10 naturally peaked my interest since I'm using a Gen 2 V10 in my build. You've done some great work on this. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it.

Here is a video of the first time I started the engine without the turbos. Remember, this is just the stock engine.

      Jon,
I think you may have to upgrade your pilot's license to fly that thing!
Awesome project, looking forward to seeing it done! Good Luck, and keep us posted!

As of right now, the plan is black. The interior will be black leather with red stiching. But things can change, they do almost every day on this project!
