Supplier for spring steel?
I am looking for some pieces of spring steel rod, just am not having any luck with getting a supplier. All I really need is something that is 1/2 to 5/8 in diameter, round. I need 2 pieces each around 18 inches long. I was hoping that a spring manufacturer could help. I tried to contact Alcan but no reply just yet. Anyone have a suggestion? So far the best I have come up with is a bar from these guys http://www.campbellmotorsport.com/Pa...NDSPACERS.aspx that I would then have to cut up for what I need. At $90, I would rather try to find something cheaper. If I could get some wire used for coil springs before it was twisted into a spring, that may be ideal
