      Any First Gens Camaros using SPC UCAs with Ridetech LCAs, spindles and coilovers?

      I currently have SPC uppers and lowers on the car, but recently decided to a ridetech Level 2 Coilover setup (front & rear) on my car. For the front, I would like to use the SPC UCAs with the rest of the ridetech components. The reason being is when I installed the SPC UCAs I drilled out the frame mounts the accept 1/2" bolts. I am thinking it will be a PITA using a UCA that requires shims to get the front end aligned, with the mounting bolts being loose in the frame.



      Has anyone done this? I am also thinking the extra tall ball joints in the SPC UCAs will need to be swapped out for stock height pieces, but other than that I don't see why it wouldn't work. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

      One thing to consider is that our model specific coilover systems are configured with our control arms. Our control arms drop the lower coilover mount significantly to allow a longer stroke coilover. If you are going to use a different control arm make sure you mock the assembly up and measure the dimension between the coilover mounts and compare them to ours. If you require a different length coilover we may be able to accommodate...or you may decide to go with our arm[s]. Just make sure you check it out or the car may not sit where you intend it to.

      Thanks Bret. I intend to use yhe ridetech lower control for the reason you mentioned. I was just wanting to use the SPC upper control arm and since it mount to the spindle I am thinking it may not be a problem as long as I go to a stock height upper ball joint.
