      Books

What's going on guys? I was wondering if any of you had any knowledge of books out there that would be good reading material & a guide to a newbie starting a build. I saw that a guy from Camaro Performers has written a couple of books in regards to building & restoring. All help is appreciated.

Tony Huntimer is the guy you're referring to and he's a wealth of information. I think he's authored at least three books and the website above can get you a lot more information. Amazon.com has them.

      DarkGable79,

Mary and Bonzo are right. I'm "the guy from Camaro Performers". The 2 Camaro books I've written are really good for Pro-Touring and restoring tech for the "newbie" and even the moderately skilled. Obviously the latest one is for first-gen Camaros. The Pro-Touring GM book has a first-gen Camaro on the front cover, but it includes info for most GM cars and '67 through '81 F-bodies...and much of the information is general information that can be applied to any car.

I'm not affraid to promote a book I didn't write. I have not read this one yet, but it has to be good. http://www.markstielow.com/

What year, make, and model are you building?
