When your tires cost $245 each and they aren't designed for drag-racing, bare minimum is acceptable in the burnout box my friend. ;) I probably don't even need to heat them up all that much, I was getting them wet to mostly clean all the pit-dust and gravel off of them, then a little spin to dry them off.

...Here's how my day went. The original radiator sprung a leak so I found a cheap aluminum alternative. Took all day to do it all right, NOT a direct bolt-in by any means. I had to hand-make brackets for everything, shroud included.

True and thanks! Yeah most people think if you build a road-race/autoX car it needs to be fast and stiff. The adjustable shocks/coil-overs were my best investment. I personally have owned some newer cars that were built right from the factory and rode well in addition to handling well and it got me thinking, it doesn't just have to be "one way". Although I LOVE railing this thing around on-ramps and goofing off in the mountains when the suspension is set for the track, one of my favorite things to do is to cruise it around town with the suspension set to "soft" and not needing to dodge pot-holes and speed bumps. I just go right over the damn things and hardly even notice. It also handles exceptionally well when set to "soft", so this car is kindof the best of both worlds.

Swapped out my 4.11 gears today for 3.70's that have been fitted into a nodular case. I also welded in drain and fill bungs to my 9" housing.










...Going to countersink the drain plug for a little extra ground clearance.



...Decided to cut a drain passage into the recessed/countersunk area of the plug for better draining.

Restored the dash this weekend. ..new pad, bezel, trim panels, and trio gauge set.

Here's another video of the Stang at Sac Raceway. Spun a little out of the hole and tapped the rev-limiter a little at the top of 1st but made it up mid-track, watch her go after I hit 2nd! (...Right lane was slippery, almost consistently a tenth of a second slower in that lane compared to the left)

You bet! I love what I do and I wish I could build 10 cars at once and document every single build. Unfortunately I'm not independently wealthy and need to do that 4-letter thing they call work so I don't have the time or extra money lol. Goals change and right now I really need to get myself established and have some equity in a home.

Thank you! ...I drove the car the other day and rode in the passenger's seat while a prospective buyer drove, and holy crap I wish I could keep this car! ....My first house versus a Mustang though, the house definitely takes priority unfortunately. ...A very lucky individual is going to take this opportunity and run with it very soon I'm sure!
