Help!! turbo selection

Help!

The goal; Building a street driven (with a little drag and autocross) car with my 14 yr old son.

The car; 1970 Camaro pro touring style... T56, 4 bar 9" rearend, big brakes, AME front subframe...

The engine; LS__ (L92, LSX?) with twin turbos & intercooler. I'm looking for about 700/750 rwhp.

The problem; I haven't built a car in 20 years. All my knowledge is big blocks, 750 Holleys, dual point ignitions... the deeper I get into selecting engine pieces, the more confused I get! Quick throttle response is important. Not grenading the engine in the first month is important... I'm trying to get a sense of just what engine combo to put together for a street driven, reliable, car of this magnitude is required. I have read, and received quotes, etc. with suggestions that are all over the map regarding just what needs to be in the bottom end to reliably hold this together. Also, how are turbos selected relative to the cam/heads/induction and ignition?

And no, I don't want a supercharger; we have our heart set on turbos ;-)

I would love to find a build thread or otherwise from somebody who has been there and done that!
